My Finances app (Mis Finanzas) · Effective September 27, 2026
This policy explains what data the My Finances app collects, what it is used for, and what you can do about it. It is written in plain language on purpose.

| Data | What for |
|---|---|
| Email address | To create your account, verify it, and let you reset your password. |
| Name | To greet you inside the app. |
| Password | To protect your account. It is stored encrypted and nobody, not even the developer, can see it. |
| Entries you record: income, expenses, savings, tithe, with date, category, amount and notes | This is the app's content: it is used to calculate your summaries and charts. |
| Savings goals, loans and habits you record | To show your progress, your streaks and due dates. |
| Your salary, country, currency and limits set in Settings | To show amounts in your currency, calculate the tithe, and warn you when you go over your limit. |
| Your Pro subscription status | To know whether you should see ads. See “Purchases” below. |
The free version shows a small ad at the bottom of the screen. Ads are served by Google AdMob. To show ads and measure their performance, Google may collect your device's advertising ID, IP address, device information (model, operating system, language) and how you interact with ads.

The Pro subscription is paid through Google Play or Apple’s App Store, depending on your phone. We never see or store your card details. To confirm that a purchase is valid and activate it on your account, we use RevenueCat, which receives from the store the product purchased, dates and subscription status, together with your account's internal ID (not your email or name).
If you record a loan with a due date, the app schedules notifications on your phone for the day before and the day it is due. These reminders are created and stored only on your phone; they are not sent to any server. You can turn them off in your phone’s notification settings.
Your data is stored in Supabase, a database service hosted on servers in South America (São Paulo, Brazil). Information travels encrypted between your phone and the server.
The app enforces security rules at the database level (Row Level Security), so each user can only read and change their own data.
Your phone also keeps a local copy of your entries so the app works offline. That copy lives in the app's private storage and is removed when you uninstall the app.
Only with the providers needed for the app to work:
Google, Apple and RevenueCat may process data in the United States or other countries, under their own safeguards. We may also disclose information if a competent authority requires it through a valid legal order.
For as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we erase your data from our servers, with no backups kept. Purchase records held by Google Play, Apple and RevenueCat are subject to their own legal and accounting obligations.
For any of these requests, email us; we reply within 15 days. We will not treat you differently for exercising your privacy rights.
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children of that age.
We use encrypted connections, one-way hashed passwords and rules that isolate each user's data. No system is perfect: if an incident affects your data, we will let you know by email.
If we change anything important, we will update the date above and notify you inside the app before the change takes effect.
